The menu at Bar Abilene changes with the seasonal availability of
ingredients, as well Chef Tom Gladbach's on-going creative process in his kitchen.
During the Spring fish runs, look for favorites like Copper River
Salmon and Day Boat Halibut accompanied with various fruit salsas,
sweet yet spicy sauces, or vegetable relishes.
In the Fall, we take
full advantage of the harvest brought in by local farmers. Look for preparations
such as roasted baby pumpkins with garlic custard, butternut squash
bisque, and three-tomato salad.
